Tiger Woods Dishes on His ‘Close’ Relationship with Ex-GF Lindsey Vonn
Last night, “Extra” special correspondent Tony Divolani caught up with normally private golf great Tiger Wood at an event celebrating his Tiger Woods Foundation in NYC, where he opened up on his ex-girlfriend Lindsey Vonn.
The two, who dated for three years, are still friends after their split last year. He commented, "How close we've been over the years, it's fantastic. And I'm very proud of what she's done and what she's continuing to do."
Tiger is also continuing to co-parent his kids Sam and Charlie with ex-wife Elin. Woods pointed out that his kids aren't into golf like he is, saying, “My kids are into soccer. So we play travel soccer. We play soccer in the backyard all the time. And so that's what they love to do. I'm in.”
Speaking of sports, the California native revealed which teams he roots for in games. “I have my Lakers, I have my Raiders — when they were in L.A. — and I have the Dodgers.” He smiled, saying, “I still have my Raiders."
Aside from his family and sports, the 40-year-old is keeping himself up to date with the presidential race. He said, “This election has very polarizing for all of us. It's gonna be interesting to see what happens. I'm trying to figure out what I'm gonna do with it. I think it's a tough decision for a lot of people.”
Tiger was celebrating the 20th anniversary of his foundation, which was started by his late father. He shared, "For us to be here 20 years later, it's quite remarkable.”
