'Man of Steel': Russell Crowe’s ‘Holy S**t’ Moment Playing Superman’s Father
When Russell Crowe agreed to play Superman's father in “Man of Steel,” he had no idea what he was signing up for.
He told “Extra's” Terri Seymour, “I didn't realize I was getting the spandex as well, which was a bit of a holy s**t moment!”
The skin-tight costume “absolutely” made him train harder for the role of Jor-El, but he admitted, “I really enjoyed wearing it. There's something kind of cool about that four layers of spandex that just made you feel really powerful and you couldn't walk anywhere without people just going 'hmmmm.'”
