Where Stephen Paddock Was Planning on Striking Before Las Vegas Massacre
Months before he killed 59 people in Las Vegas, Stephen Paddock may have been planning a mass shooting in Chicago.
TMZ reports that Paddock had booked two rooms at the Blackstone Hotel overlooking Lollapalooza, which took place in the first weekend of August. The hotel was across the street from Grant Park, where the four-day festival was taking place.
President Obama's daughter Malia was photographed at the event.

According to the site, Paddock requested “view” rooms, which face Grant Park, but never showed up.
It has also been reported that Paddock may have been targeting the Life Is Beautiful festival, which took place in Las Vegas from September 22-25. Authorities told The Daily Beast that the 64-year-old rented out multiple condos overlooking the festival, which was headlined by Chance the Rapper, Lorde and Wiz Khalifa.
His motive for the Las Vegas mass shooting remains unknown, but his girlfriend Marilou Danley is cooperating with the FBI after returning to the United States from the Philippines on Tuesday. After buying a plane ticket for Danley to the Philippines, Paddock wired $100,000 to her just a week before his murderous rampage.
