Watch Leslie Odom Jr. Urge America to ‘Wait for It’
“Hamilton” star Leslie Odom Jr. is sending out a strong message ahead of the presidential election!
In a PSA for Represent.Us, Leslie performed a remix of the “Hamilton” anthem “Wait for It” to urge Americans to be patient for the final election results.
Odom Jr. said, "Look, this is pretty clear. Every American who voted deserves to have their voice heard. In this historic election, millions of you mailed your ballots or dropped them off – and all of you deserve to be counted. It may take time, but your vote is worth waiting for. And I'm willing to wait for it.”
Due to the massive increase in mail-in ballots, the final results for some key states may not be known for over a week.
Other big names to participate in the video include Amy Schumer, Ed Helms, Alysia Reiner, Dawn-Lyen Gardner and Piper Perabo.
