Will Sean Spicer Join ‘Dancing with the Stars’?
White House press secretary Sean Spicer is resigning from his post next month, but does he already have another gig lined up?
Rumors are swirling that Spicer has been asked to join the 25th season of “Dancing with the Stars.”
Politico reports that Spicer met with ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox to discuss contributor positions, while some meetings were a way to get to know him better.
Regarding speculation that Spicer could appear on the upcoming season of “DWTS," an ABC spokesperson told Page Six: “We don't comment on casting.”
When Spicer announced his his plans to resign last week, actor Zach Braff joked on Twitter, "Can't wait to see Sean Spicer waltz on Dancing With the Stars.”
If Spicer joins the show, he wouldn't be the first political figure to do so — current Secretary of Energy Rick Perry participated in the show last year, but was eliminated in the second week, and former Republican House Majority Leader Tom DeLay struggled through three weeks of Season 9 before bowing out due to health reasons.
