Katherine Webb & AJ McCarron’s Wedding: Exclusive Pics of the Dress, Video and More!

“Extra’s” AJ Calloway was with former Miss Alabama and model Katherine Webb at our H&M studio in NYC, where she opened up about her wedding to her high-school sweetheart, NFL player AJ McCarron.

The couple tied the knot on July 12 beside the Gulf shores in Orange Beach, Alabama. “We were right by the water… I love being out in nature so I really wanted our pictures to reflect that.”

Sherry Hill designed her wedding dress. Webb explained, “She actually designed my Miss USA dress and is moving into doing luxury wedding dresses. I have seen her work, and she does just as good of a job as any other designer out there. I would absolutely recommend her.”

Her bridesmaids also wore blush pink dresses designed by Hill.

Katherine said she changed twice at her wedding, putting on something more free-flowing for the reception. “A lace onset corset with a ball gown skirt that actually had a slit in the skirt, so I could dance, move around and feel free to do whatever I wanted.”

What was one of Webb’s favorite wedding moments? “Dancing with daddy. This was my favorite part of the reception. Dad is such an emotional guy, like a teddy bear. I love him so much.”

The five-tiered cake and the décor of the reception were done by Christopher Confero Designs of Birmingham. “We didn’t want to waste a lot of money on flowers when we were going to throw them away. We designed just the head of the table and had the whole room dark, but placed small pieces on the other tables… I wanted to make sure it looked like a dream, something I was walking into that I would only imagine in my dream.”
