Lively beat out Amy Adams, Emily Blunt, Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep for the award, which was voted on by the public.
Before gushing about her hubby, Blake, who stunned in an Elie Saab dress and Lorraine Schwartz jewels, fangirled over Luke Hemsworth, one of the stars of “Westworld.” She shared on stage, "I think this was a ploy to get myself up here because I love 'Westworld' so much, so I'm so excited.”
During her speech, the 29-year-old also pointed out the importance of “girl power.” She explained, “Thank you for sending a message to Hollywood that people want to hear stories about women, and we want to hear your stories. Whether it's social media, your iPhone — whatever — tell your stories, now more than ever. You need to be heard, you are valuable, and no one can limit you!”
