Kim Porter’s Autopsy Adds to Mystery Surrounding Her Death

Sean “Diddy” Combs' ex-girlfriend Kim Porter was found dead last week at her L.A. home, but what happened to the 47-year-old is still a mystery.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office performed an autopsy on Friday, and spokeswoman Sarah Ardalani tells USA Today, "The cause of death was deferred pending additional tests.”

Toxicology tests have reportedly been performed, but results could take weeks.

Meanwhile, law enforcement sources tell TMZ that Kim wasn't feeling well and went to bed early Wednesday night. When family couldn't wake her on Thursday, paramedics were called. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Porter was reportedly taking Saline and vitamins to battle what was thought to be the flu or pneumonia, but authorities are also checking to see if she may have contracted a disease during a recent trip to Africa.

Diddy and Porter dated on and off from 1994 to 2007. They welcomed son Christian in 1998 and twin daughters Jessie James and D'Lila in 2006. Kim was also the mother of a son, Quincy, from a previous relationship with singer Al B. Sure!

Diddy paid tribute to Porter on Instagram over the weekend, writing, "For the last three days I've been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven't. I don't know what I'm going to do without you baby. I miss you so much. Today I'm going to pay tribute to you, I'm going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship.”

He went on to declare, "We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE SOME OTHER SH-T!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love.”
