Alfonso Ribeiro on the Special Meaning Behind His ‘Fresh Prince’ Reunion Entrance

“Extra’s” Nate Burleson caught up with Alfonso Ribeiro to talk about his “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” reunion on HBO Max.

Alfonso reflected on how special the show was, his Carlton audition, and the special meaning behind his entrance on the reunion.

Nate pointed out that Ribeiro was the only cast member to enter the reunion by coming down the stairs. Alfonso replied, “Pretty much every episode I came down the stairs, so it felt right.”

He also shared, “That was the last moment [fans] ever saw me on the show, was in the last episode. Everybody leaves and I was in the bathroom and then I run through… so it kinda made sense for me to enter like that last moment on the series.”

The star is also busy hosting “America’s Funniest Home Videos,” and revealed he’s often genuinely surprised by what he sees on the show, explaining, “I actually don’t even watch all the videos that are going to be on the show because I want to be able to see them and laugh when I’m taping.”
