Will Simon Cowell Make a Surprise Appearance on the ‘AGT’ Finale? The Judges Weigh In

Tonight is the big “America's Got Talent” finale!

“Extra's” Terri Seymour got a chance to talk to judges Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofía Vergara, as well as host Terry Crews, in person — physically distanced of course!

Everyone is ready to crown the new million-dollar winner, but one question remains… will we see Simon Cowell, who has been home recovering from a back injury?

Heidi said, “No one told us anything, but in my heart...”

Sofía interjected, “You think we're going to get a surprise?” to which Heidi replied, “I'm thinking yes… I'm hopeful. I kind of feel like I am seeing him coming…”

Klum added, “I have a sneaking suspicion that he is going to come in and say, 'Hey, guys!'... May be wishful thinking.”

Terry suggested a Zoom, and Sofía agreed, saying, “That would be great," but Heidi wanted more, insisting, “No, no, he can come by!”

Howie is not so hopeful, saying, “He is focusing on his health and family and getting back to normal… He is, as I have heard, ahead [and] on track to be 100 percent some time earlier than doctors expected, but not the finale.”

The next big question... who will win? Terry said, “Depends on whatever mood America is in, because each and every one of these finalists could win it all.”

Howie added, “It's anybody's game, but I think the three top players are Roberta, Cristina and Brandon.”

The ladies insisted their golden buzzers will win!

Sofía also set the record straight on rumors she is set to work with George Clooney, shooting them down. “No, but I hope so," she said, but admitted, "Maybe he's planning and I don't know it!”
