Ray J Files for Divorce from Princess Love

Months after sparking reconciliation rumors, Ray J, 39, has filed for divorce from wife Princess Love, 36.

The Blast reports Ray filed on Monday, requesting joint custody of their two kids, Melody Love and Epik Ray.

Ray also asked that their prenuptial agreement be enforced.

Two months ago, Princess requested to dismiss her own divorce filing, a request which was approved.

In May, a rep discussed Love's divorce filing, telling People magazine, “It's a very difficult time for both Princess and Ray J and we are asking that we just let them have their privacy as they work through and deal with this very trying situation.”

After the filing, Ray opened up about life under quarantine. During a virtual press conference, he said, “I was at the studio right around when everything got locked down. Before I came home, I had to quarantine for 14 days.”

Ray made sure to show his appreciation for Princess, saying, “My wife has been supermom, and she wasn't having that so she just wanted to make sure that I was good. We're taking it one day at a time… Right now, we're just locked in with the parenting. God is good.”

Love's divorce filing came just months after it was reported that they were living separately. A source noted that there was no talk of divorce, but the kids were staying with Princess while Ray came by for daily visits.

Last year, Princess and Ray made headlines after she put him on blast and hinted at divorce. During an Instagram Live session, she said, “I don't want to be married anymore. Period. I don't have time for this. This is not love. And I'm done.”
