Who Just Topped Forbes’ Highest-Paid Actor List?
Forbes just announced its highest-paid actor list for 2020, and it seems Netflix played a big part in boosting some bank accounts!
It's no surprise that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson topped the list again, this time with a whopping $87.5 million in earnings. The magazine credits his upcoming Netflix film “Red Notice,” which paid $23.5 million, and his Under Armour line.
Johnson's “Red Notice” co-star Ryan Reynolds came in second place, taking home $20 million for the streaming film. That's not all — he also scored $20 million for another Netflix film called “Six Underground,” and it was just announced he has yet another Netflix movie in the works.
Mark Wahlberg landed in third with $58 million, thanks to recent projects like “McMillions,” “Wahl Street,” and his Netflix comedy “Spenser Confidential.”
Fourth place went to Ben Affleck at $55 million. He starred in the big-screen drama “The Way Back,” and in Netflix's “The Last Thing He Wanted.” Meanwhile, Vin Diesel took home $54 million, thanks in part to his animated Netflix series “Fast & Furious Spy Races.”
