Tracy Morgan & Megan Wollover Split

Comedian Tracy Morgan, 51, and his wife Megan Wollover, 33, are calling it quits.

On Wednesday, Morgan announced their separation in a statement to People magazine. He said, “Sadly, after nearly five years of marriage, Megan and I are filing for divorce. This is a challenging time for all involved, so I ask that you please respect our privacy.”

The divorce could get complicated since they have one daughter, 7-year-old Maven Sonae.

Just two weeks ago, Tracy and Megan showed no signs of splitting while celebrating Maven's birthday. Megan posted a pic from the Moana-themed party, writing on Instagram, “A Moana themed Backyard Birthday celebration & fun for our baby girl! 🌺Happy Birthday Maven🌺 we love you! I can't believe you're 7! #alwaysmybaby #gettingtobig #7thbirthday #festivities #party #myheart #timeflies #mavenmorgan #themorgans #covidsummer2020 #july2 #cancerseason.”

Megan was seen wearing a ring on her left finger. She has now gone private on Instagram.

Last year, Tracy joked about wanting to have another baby with Megan. When asked what his Valentine's Day plans were, he told “Extra” at the premiere of “What Men Want” in Los Angeles, “Probably make another baby.”

“We want 10. Trying to break Eddie Murphy's record,” Tracy added. He was joined at the premiere by Megan.

Tracy and Megan tied the knot in 2015, three years after he announced their engagement on the Emmys red carpet. Referencing his car accident which nearly killed him, Megan told People magazine, "After almost losing Tracy last year, I am so grateful to finally be married to the love of my life. We have been through so much and our love is stronger for it."

"I'm so excited to see what our future holds and feel so blessed to spend the rest of my life with Tracy!" she added.
