Kloots opened up on Instagram Stories about Nick's health, saying, “It has been awhile, partly that is because we have been in a little bit of a standstill. We are just waiting to see if Nick gets better.”
She continued, “We're at a point where we've done everything we possibly can and are waiting to see if things progress in a way that is good. Nick is on a big dose of steroids to help with inflammation in his body, so we are waiting to see if that works and we are continuing prayers and hoping for miracles every day.”
Amanda said her sister recently reminded her that sometimes God gives you a different miracle than the one you are asking for.
Kloots agreed, saying, “In the end it is his will to be done and I have to keep believing that and I will continue praying and asking God for this miracle for Nick and we will see. If it isn't the miracle I'm asking for, maybe it is a miracle that comes out in a different way in a different time.”

In the caption she shared Nick's message to her on Valentine's Day: “The future's uncertain, the path is not always clear, but with you by my side I walk with no fear.”⠀She added, “It's day 60 and I miss him more than ever. 💛
After waking from a medically induced coma, Nick suffered a setback.
