Kristin Cavallari & Jay Cutler Announce Divorce 'with Great Sadness'
Reality star Kristin Cavallari and husband Jay Cutler are over.
The couple announced on Instagram Sunday that they were parting ways "after 10 years together."
In the post, which features a touching image of the couple, arms around each other as they walk away from the camera, Cavallari writes that they "have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce. We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family."

In divorce documents obtained by “Extra,” Jay cites irreconcilable differences and asks that both parents be granted joint custodians and decision makers for their children.
Kristin answered with her own filing, stating Cutler "is guilty of such inappropriate marital conduct as renders further cohabitation unsafe and improper." He has not responded to the accusation.
She wants primary custody of the children, while Jay would have visitation. The reality star is also asking for child support and health and dental insurance for the children. Cavallari also asks that Cutler maintain a life insurance policy on himself with Kristin as the sole beneficiary.
They also differ on the date of separation. Jay listed April 21, while Kristin says they split on April 7.
People magazine reports that just a month ago, Cavallari called her husband someone she could lean on through "rocky" times on an episode of "Very Cavallari."
"It's been a bit of a rocky year," she said on the popular show. "I feel like the older you get, the more you realize who is supposed to be in your life. You figure out who your real friends are — friends come and go. It's nice that I have you as my constant. You're my common denominator."
After the divorce announcement, Cavallari has dropped "wife" from her Instagram profile.
The split follows unsubstantiated rumors that Cutler and Cavallari's BFF Kelly Henderson were having an affair. Cavallari has said she did not believe the gossip, but she was upset that her friend "never once" apologized or backed off of mentioning her man on social media.
Cavallari and Cutler became engaged in April 2011 after a year of dating, split up, got back together, and were wed in 2013.
They are the parents of son Camden, 7, son Jaxon, 5, and daughter Saylor, 4.
