On Tuesday, Jasmine, 35, and husband Brett welcomed a baby girl, who they named Hazel Lynn. Their bundle joy weighed 7 lbs., 3 oz., and measured 19 inches long.
Acknowledging the COVID-19 crisis, Jasmine told People magazine, “It's a scary time to bring a child into the world when it feels like up is down and down is up, but as soon as we saw her precious face all the fear and anxiety melted away. We've had the best experience at the hospital (thank you healthcare workers!) and can't wait to return home in the next couple days.”
“Our family and friends are so supportive over lots of videochats and even though it's not how we planned, it's been absolutely perfect. She's only a couple hours old and loved so much already!” Roth added.
Earlier this month, Jasmine posted a pic of herself in a bikini, joking, “When you're taking your own #babymoon photos (aka floating in our family's backyard pool for a few hours 😂) and@brettrothofficial wants to be in every pic. 😆😆.”

She pointed out, “Honestly though, with all the stress and uncertainty in our world right now, being HOME and spending every waking moment together has been nice. So yeah, I think that's definitely the unexpected silver lining to all this. #staypositive.”
Jasmine and Brett announced they were expecting in October. At the time, she told People, “The word 'excited' just doesn't properly serve the emotions, feelings and overall smile I have been carrying since finding out the news.”

“I'm sure every new mom goes through this, but it's a wild feeling not knowing what's going to happen. Already I have learned patience,” Jasmine continued. “I have had to let go of control and trust my body, and I know this little one is going to change everything in the best way. We can't wait for this little one to sweep us off our feet.”
The couple, who were college roommates, tied the knot in 2013.
