Vin Diesel Reveals Who Influenced Him to Star in ‘Bloodshot’ and ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’
It was a superhero premiere for Vin Diesel and his newest movie, “Bloodshot.”
“Extra's” Rene Bargh spoke with Vin in Los Angeles, where he enjoyed a date night with wife Paloma. He said, “My wife is here. I did not bring the kids. It's a sore subject.”
The 52-year-old added that he was just being cautious, saying, “It's the kind of movie... I gotta see this movie.”
Who impacted his decision to take on the roles in “Bloodshot” and “Guardians of the Galaxy”? Vin revealed, “Lo and behold, it was my son [Vincent] that picked both of them… I brought him into the meeting.”
When Renee commented that Vincent was his “little oracle,” Vin agreed.
Vincent, 9, just had his own big night. Diesel shared, “My son just pulled a tooth out and I was like, 'Wait, just enjoy the wiggle.' The second Daddy left the home — rip!”
Diesel is excited for his kids — Hania Riley, Vincent and Pauline — to eventually see it. He pointed out, “The only thing [of mine] they haven't seen is 'Riddick.'”
“Bloodshot” is based on the best-selling comic book about a murdered man who's brought back to life as a superhero. Vin, who has had great success with franchise movies, is hoping this is one, too, saying, “It's set to be... it's very cool. I'm very excited.”
