Maluma Has ‘No More Tears Left’ After Emotional Reaction to Grammy Nod

Singer Maluma took to Instagram to share his emotional reaction to his Grammy nomination.

The star, who picked up a nod for Best Latin Album for “11:11,” opened up to fans in Spanish, saying, “As soon as I heard the news, I called my mom and shared my feelings with her.”

He added, “You all know that I have worked very hard, very, very hard for this to be a reality today. So thank you to the Academy, to my fans, to my family, and especially to the producers and composers who worked on ‘11:11.’ We are nominated for an American Grammy! Congratulations to all of you, because this belongs to all of you.”

Maluma insisted, “I’m not going to cry in this video, because as you can see, my eyes are red from crying so much and I have no more tears left. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. Congratulations to my entire team. What a beautiful accomplishment and how beautiful when hard work and talent are recognized. I love you.”

Last year, Maluma took home a Latin Grammy for Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album for his third album, “F.A.M.E.”

The 25-year-old is currently on the 11:11 World Tour through the end of the year, with stops left in Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. In February, he launches the 2020 Maluma World Tour with concerts in 23 cities across the globe.
