Sam Asghari on Ultimate Date Night with Britney Spears, Plus: Is He Thinking About Marriage?

Sam Asghari had the support of his girlfriend Britney Spears as he accepted the Outstanding Achievement in Fitness Award at the 2019 Daytime Beauty Awards.

Only “Extra's” Renee Bargh sat down with Sam at the event, as he opened up about his relationship with Britney.

The pair met while making the music video for her 2016 song “Slumber Party.” Sam explained, “We talked about it [while working on] the music video. She said, 'Let's get sushi.' She called me. I couldn't get her number… It was happening in the music video, we felt a connection. I wasn't surprised that she called me. I didn't go into the music video to meet someone so special who is going to be in my life.”

Sushi was their first date, and now they enjoy quiet nights, like, "Just watching a movie at home.”

The actor says he does think about marriage. “That's the whole point of a relationship, so…”

Sam also said that Britney is his fitness inspiration, explaining to Renee, “Sometimes, just being me, you're tired, you want to take days off. The other day, I was tired. I actually worked out in the morning, didn't want to do a second workout. She said, 'Let's go to the gym.' We ran a couple of miles.” Sam shared that running is their favorite workout together.

Sam is busy working as well as working out, posting a photo with Jamie Foxx and Scott Eastwood on social media and telling Renee, “We're doing a secret project.” He added, “It was their project; I was just a small part.” He said "maybe" about working with Britney agai.
