Sam Asghari Gushes Over Britney Spears’ Support

On Friday, trainer Sam Asghari was honored for his fitness at the Daytime Beauty Awards in Los Angeles, where he was joined by superstar girlfriend Britney Spears.

“Extra's” Renee Bargh spoke with Sam, just minutes after he and Britney arrived. Sam was thrilled to have Britney there, gushing, “That means the world to me. She is the number-one support, so that means the world.”

The pair, who met on the set of her music video “Slumber Party,” have been together since 2016. They recently even sparked engagement rumors after she wore a sparkler on her left ring finger at the “Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood” premiere. Despite the ring, "Extra" heard that Britney and Sam were not engaged.

As for what fitness means to him, Sam shared, “Fitness has been a part of my life for a long time… I did a transformation that led me to… everybody was like, 'OMG, you lost so much weight… you made yourself into an actor!' Acting has always been my passion — I have always been doing it.”

The 25-year-old added, “Fitness has allowed me to have so many opportunities… I go for more roles now that I am fit.”
