Taylor Swift Takes Jab at Kanye 10 Years After He Crashed Her VMAs Speech
Ten years ago, Kanye West crashed the stage during Taylor Swift's MTV Video Music Awards acceptance speech… and she hasn't forgotten.
The singer brought up the infamous moment during a red-carpet interview at last night's award show.
While speaking with Terrence J about her after-party plans, he mentioned that Swift, who was up for 12 awards, would surely take home a Moon Person. She quipped, “You never know what can happen on this show, as I've learned. But we're just probably going to figure out a way to celebrate anyway.” Watch the video here.
Back in 2009, Swift won Female Video of the Year for “You Belong With Me.” West felt the award should have gone to Beyoncé for “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)."

Swift and West have had their ups and down ever since.
This year marked Taylor's return to the VMAs stage for the first time since 2015. She opened the show with “You Need to Calm Down” and “Lover.”
