‘Bachelorette’ Wedding! Rachel Lindsay & Bryan Abasolo Married
“The Bachelorette” couple Rachel Lindsay, 34, and Bryan Abasolo, 39, have taken the leap!
Over the weekend, the couple tied the knot at the Royalton Suites Cancún in Mexico. Their wedding planner shared some details with People magazine, saying, “Rachel was the epitome of elegance and grace as she walked down the aisle towards Bryan. The ceremony was filled with so much joy, love and laughter. As they exchanged their personal handwritten vows, you could feel the unbridled emotion and powerful connection between them.”
Rachel wore a Randi Rahm gown, while Bryan sported a white shawled tuxedo. Before their big day, she shared with People TV, “Randi is so talented and I always say, 'I am Randi Rahm.' She just gets me. I wore her dresses on the show and I knew that she was the perfect person to capture the essence of me in a wedding dress.”
Some of the guests to attend include “The Bachelor” alums Kristina Schulman, Astrid Loch and Bibiana Julian.
A source told E! News, “Everyone was seated in white chairs and looked out at the water as they said their vows. The decor was minimal. There was white drapery overhead and a white aisle runner with green leaves. The green leaves were used throughout the wedding decor at both the ceremony and reception. The ceremony was brief as it was very hot outside. Rachel and Bryan took turns holding a microphone as they read personal vows. At the end, they kissed and everyone cheered."
For the reception, Rachel wore white shorts and sparkly ankle boots so she could move around better on the dance floor!
She also made a speech, telling guests, “But if you didn't believe it there, you'll believe it today, watching us as we celebrate with you guys," she said. "We can't say thank you enough for being here."
The insider continued, "Everyone had a great time and was very happy for Rachel and Bryan. They didn't want the night to end."
On Sunday morning, Rachel posted two Instagram Stories following the wedding. In one video, she brought the focus to her dress and his tuxedo, joking that there were “few casualities.” She also shared a photo of her hair extensions and a bottle of Hennessey.
A few weeks before the wedding, “Extra's” Renee Bargh sat down with Rachel at Universal Studios Hollywood. She pointed out that “there will be no drama” with all the Bachelor Nation attendees. Watch!
Rachel and Bryan found love in 2017 on “The Bachelorette,” when he popped the question to her on the season finale. Of the proposal, Lindsay told People, “It was like an out-of-body experience to hear the words that he was saying to me. I blanked out on what I was saying — I meant it and it was from the heart, but it was just so surreal that it was happening. I mean, we're in Spain, we're on top of this castle. I'm standing in front of the man of my dreams, and now he's about to get down on one knee. And so the moment he did it, it was like, 'Oh, my gosh, this is happening!' I couldn't do anything but scream. Like, that's all I could do, I was so happy.”
After the engagement, they moved to Dallas, her hometown, before relocating to Miami.
Now that they are married, are kids next? Two years ago, she told "Extra" in NYC, “I still want four, he wants three.”
Bryan chimed in, “Let's see after we have one — let's see how you feel after that,” but Rachel insisted, "I still want four.”
