Why Jada Pinkett Smith Says Meghan Markle Isn’t Ready to Appear on ‘Red Table Talk’
Jada Pinkett Smith is back on the big screen in “Angel Has Fallen.”
“Extra's” Terri Seymour spoke with Jada, who dished on her role and her successful Facebook Watch Show “Red Table Talk.”
When Pinkett Smith isn't acting, she is sitting down with people like Jordyn Woods, Kristin Davis, and her own husband Will Smith, but will she ever have Meghan Markle as a guest on her show? Jada said, “If there is ever a right time… It's really a storytelling show. When people are really ready to share an aspect of their story… she's a new mother; it takes time to adjust.”

View Story“In about five, 10 years, she will have a lot to say, a lot to offer,” Pinkett Smith added. “When she's ready, 'Red Table' listen, any day, but not right now, that's understandable.”
Jada said she is happy to be part of “Angel Has Fallen,” which is the third movie in the "Fallen" franchise, this one starring Gerard Butler. Pinkett Smith commented, “It feels like it could be a stand-alone. I had a great time being a part of this project.”
For the movie, Jada took on the role of an FBI special who is pitted against Butler's character. She revealed, “She's Helen Thompson. She's chasing Mike Banning down for attempting to assassinate the President of the United States. He's been framed for that, which as she goes along, she realizes things aren't adding up as they should be if he did this.”
Jada emphasized, “It's action-packed, but it also has a lot of heart.”
The 47-year-old said she recently found her own peace and happiness, explaining, “It's taken a lot of work, and it's a journey.”
She smiled, noting, “I have the answer to my peace for today.”
“Angel Has Fallen” is in theaters August 23.
