Pink or Blue? Johnny Galecki & Alaina Meyer Get Creative with Baby’s Gender Reveal

The parents-to-be threw a painting party, inviting family and friends to have fun with the color blue as they announced on social media that they are having a boy.

Galecki shared a pic of Alaina planting a kiss on his lips as she cradles his face with blue hands. He called it, “A day I'll never forget.”

In another pic, they share a laugh in clothes covered in blue paint. Alaina wrote, “I can not wait to raise a baby boy with my love. He will follow in his fathers footsteps of being a generous, loving, chivalrous fellow.”

Johnny recently told the co-hosts of “The Talk” that he was hoping for a girl. The actor said after "The Big Bang Theory" wrapped he put some blue in his hair, "but then I got superstitious that I was manifesting a boy, when I kinda prefer a girl... so I painted my nails pink to even out the energy."

The couple announced the pregnancy on May 3. Johnny shared on Instagram, “We are absolutely over the moon to announce that we will soon be welcoming a little one into this crazy and wonderful world. We ask that you please respect our privacy during this celebratory time for us and our families. There truly is love out there for all. We hope ours is the ember of yours, as we feel yours is the ember of ours.”

Alaina also shared the news, writing, “So happy to announce that we are having a baby! There couldn't be a better blessing in the world for us and we are over the moon happy.”
