Laura Bell Bundy Welcomes Baby Boy – What’s His Name?

On Monday, Bundy announced she gave birth to a baby boy, who she named Huck. Along with precious photos with her bundle of joy, she wrote on Instagram, “Huck Hinkle was born today May 20th at 3:15pm pacific. 7 lbs. 21.5 inches. He's perfect. We are so blessed.”

The Tony-nominated actress also gave a sweet shoutout to her TV producer husband Thom Hinkle, who is seen holding their baby in one of the pics. She said, “It was a doozy! @thomhinkle Was the perfect husband. I was an insane person and avoided pain meds.. he was so supportive. We are both in love with our little man!”

In another photo, Huck is awake, looking directly into the camera!

Huck arrived earlier than expected. In February, Laura announced she was due in late May, saying, “It's with such joy in our hearts that @thomhinkle and I announce we will be bringing a little baby boy into the world due May 31st…”

In her pregnancy announcement, the 38-year-old emphasized, “I've been reminded of the beauty in life's transitions in the last year. Thank goodness for the circle of life, and the blessings we feel we've received from our recently departed angels. We are so grateful… (and I'm so grateful I have the baby daddy I do… I'm even more in love with him).”

Earlier this month, Laura and Thom celebrated Huck's arrival at their baby shower in Los Angeles.

Laura has been open about her pregnancy struggles. She told her Instagram followers in March, “I was crazy nauseous, had headaches only cured by Coca-Cola, massive food aversions, craved fruit & starchy carbs and was going to bed at PM. Quite a change from my normal burning of the midnight oil.”

The baby came two years after Laura and Thom tied the knot at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California. Of their special day, she told People magazine, “The actual ceremony was everything I could have wanted. Whatever stress I may have felt dissipated when I saw Thom at the end of the aisle. All of our friends were clapping and hooting with every person that came up the aisle. They were so jovial.”

Laura and Thom got engaged in New Zealand while watching New Year's Eve fireworks in 2015. In an emotional Facebook post, she revealed, “The way we've come out of differences & challenges as better more fully realized versions of ourselves has only deepened our love & connection… And allows me to believe we have what it takes to grow young together. It allows me to believe in love in general. THAT's when you know if love is true. He is my rock. My Partner. My Best Friend. My roomie. My champion. My greatest most fun challenge. My make-out Partner. He's the reason to my rhyme & he's attempting to make me an honest woman. I said 'YES.'”

They met in 2011.

Since making her acting debut as a child in the 1993 film “The Adventures of Huck Finn,” Bundy has starred in Broadway productions of “Hairspray,” “Wicked,” and “Legally Blonde.”
