Romantic Rome Wedding! 'Grey's' Star Giacomo Gianniotti Gets Married

“Grey's Anatomy” star Giacomo Gianniotti, 29, married Nichole Gustafson at Villa Pocci in Rome over the weekend.

After exchanging vows, the couple partied it up with their close friends and family until 1 a.m., People magazine reports.

In a video posted on Instagram, Giacomo and Nichole kissed as they were surrounded by sparklers and a huge wedding cake. She wore a Netta BenShabu dress, while he rocked an Armani shawl tuxedo.

On Tuesday, Gianniotti, who plays Dr. Andrew DeLuca on “Grey's Anatomy,” showed his appreciation to those involved in the wedding. Tagging them on Instagram, he wrote, “Huge thank you to the incredible team that gave us the most incredible wedding we are forever indebted to you for making this day a dream come true. We are still floating.”

He continued in a wedding photo caption, “To all our friends and family who came, we love you and we will never forget you.”

Nichole shared the same photo, writing, “Best day of my life!”

Just two months before they got hitched, Giacomo celebrated their love on Valentine's Day. He wrote, “This... this, is love. Happy Valentines Day to my Ride or Die. You are the sun on my face and the wind at my back! Here's to barreling down highways with reckless abandon til the end baby! 🏍 🛣 ❤️ 📸: @forloveandlight.”

In December, they celebrated their one-year engagement anniversary. Captioning a photo of them in Toronto, he wrote, “You'll never guess where we are... Asked this beautiful woman to marry me a year ago and every moment since has been nothing short of magic. To all of you out there searching for love, it is out there. #toronto #forchristmas #cntower #rideordie.”

The wedding came over a year after Giacomo popped the question to the makeup artist on Thanksgiving weekend. At the time, he announced, “She said yes. I am truly one lucky guy, and I wouldn't rather be walking down this crazy road of life with anyone else. I love you. Thank you.”

Nichole showed off her engagement ring, writing, “Yesterday my best friend asked me to marry him in the most romantic way, a day reliving our love. We are thrilled. I wouldn't want to do this life with anyone else. I love you baby and can't wait to be your wife 💍 This man has showed me what true love is. What a dream come true, pinch me.”
