Michelle Williams Talks Daughter Matilda on What Would Have Been Heath Ledger’s 40th
Actress Michelle Williams stopped by “Live with Kelly and Ryan” on Thursday, where she opened up about Matilda, her daughter with late actor Heath Ledger.
It was a special day, considering April 4 would have been Heath's 40th birthday.
Williams said of their 13-year-old, “So far, so good.”
She explained, “Every morning we wake up and I look to see if the transformation has happened, and if it's turned into the next level that I keep hearing about, but so far, we're not there yet.”
Michelle and Heath met on the set of “Brokeback Mountain” in 2004, and welcomed Matilda in October 2005. The couple split in 2007.
Ledger died of an accidental drug overdose in 2008. He was 28.
