In a New York Times piece that asks whether the KarJenners are America's savviest CEOs, Kylie denies the pricing was an act of revenge.

Kylie expressed shock that the Jordy Lip Kit's price had been slashed, from $27 to $13.50, saying she called an employee as soon as she heard about it. "That is just not my character," she told Times writer Amy Chozick. "I would never do something like that and when I saw it, I was like, thrown back."
