Donald Glover’s Childish Gambino Collaborators Say ‘Something Big Is Coming’
“Extra” spoke with composer Ludwig Göransson backstage at the Grammys, where he took home awards for his work on Childish Gambino's “This Is America,” and “Black Panther.”
After winning big at the Grammys, Ludwig revealed he's been working with Donald Glover, who performs under the name Childish Gambino.
Donald, who did not attend the Grammys, has said in the past that he planned to retire Childish Gambino after his tour wrapped in December 2018, so it's exciting to hear he has new music in the works.
Ludwig, who was joined by mastering engineer Mike Bozzi and producer Riley Mackin, explained, “I've been in the studio a little bit lately… we've been working closely with Donald for a little while."
Bozzi, who also worked on “This Is America,” added, “We've been in the studio working on some new songs. He has another vision he's working out. I can't tell you when it is coming out, but something big is coming.”
Ludwig reiterated, “Something big!”
