Ashlee Simpson on Sister Jessica's Pregnancy: 'She's Ready for That Baby'

It was date night Saturday for Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross as they attended Clive Davis' annual pre-Grammy party!

With Ashlee's big sis Jessica Simpson expecting her third child, a girl, with husband, Eric Johnson, Ashlee dished to "Extra," "She's doing good." Saying the baby is coming soon, Ashlee also assured us, "She's ready for that baby."

Evan, a longtime attendee of Davis' iconic annual bash, said of the event, "For me, it's my favorite out of all of them. It's spontaneous. When you're actually in there, the music that gets played, the things that start happening, it looks like an amazing camaraderie of people in music doing something amazing. It's really special."

Ashlee revealed she has never been to the Grammys before, but is going to see her mother-in-law Diana Ross perform. "I'm very excited," she said.

The Grammys are celebrating Diana ahead of her March 26 75th birthday, and Evan told "Extra" he couldn't wait to see his legendary mom, “Do her thing — she deserves it. I am 100% a fan."

Ashlee said she is an even bigger fan of Miss Ross now. "When we first start dating — I was always a fan of his mom, but I became the biggest fan, not only because she's the most loving mother-in-law ever, but everything she has done in her life is just genius."
