Usher Files for Divorce from Grace Miguel

Nine months after they called it quits, singer Usher is moving forward with a divorce from estranged wife and manager Grace Miguel.
According to court papers obtained by People magazine, Usher filed for divorce on Friday in Atlanta.
Earlier this year, Usher and Grace confirmed the split in a joint statement, saying, “After much thought and consideration, we have mutually decided to separate as a couple. We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives.”
The statement continued, “The enormous amount of love and respect that we have for each other will only increase as we move forward.”
Usher and Grace started dating in 2009, and secretly tied the knot in 2015, less than a year after he proposed.
Usher was previously married to Tameka Foster, mother of his two sons. They divorced in 2009.
