Forest Whitaker & Wife Keisha Split After 22 Years of Marriage
It's over between Forest Whitaker and wife Keisha Nash Whitaker after 22 years of marriage, reports TMZ.
Forest filed court docs on Thursday, but it is unclear if he is filing for a legal separation or divorce.
The couple met on the set of “Blown Away” in 1994 and wed two years later in Jamaica. They have two daughters together, Sonnet, 22, and True, 20.
Before the marriage, each had a child from a previous relationship. Forest's son Ocean is now 28, while Keisha's daughter Autumn is 27.
The 56-year-old Oscar winner tweeted about family over the holidays. He wrote, “Christmas is a celebration of solidarity – a time of the year when we are reminded that the bonds our families, friends, fellow citizens and beyond are based on sharing and bringing joy.”
