Stan Lee’s Cause of Death Revealed

Weeks after his passing, more details have been released about Marvel Comics icon Stan Lee's death.

According to his death certificate, obtained by TMZ, Lee's immediate cause of death was cardiac arrest, as a result of respiratory and heart failure.

Aspiration pneumonia was listed as a contributing factor in his death.

The certificate also noted that he was cremated and his ashes were given to his daughter.

Earlier this year, Lee was rushed to a hospital after experiencing shortness of breath and an irregular heartbeat.

Lee died at the age of 95.
