Amanda Knox Engaged — Who’s the Man Who Proposed?
Amanda Knox is getting married!

In 2015, Knox was exonerated by the Italian Supreme Court in the infamous murder of her roommate Meredith Kercher.
Knox's boyfriend Christopher Robinson popped the question at their home with an alien-themed proposal. In a video, he asked, “Will you stay with me until the last star in the last galaxy burns out and even after that? Amanda Marie Knox, will you marry me?”
Robinson has been planning it for over a year. He added, “Special thanks to everyone who kept zipped lips.”
Knox wrote on Instagram, “It was just your average Sunday night, when suddenly...”

Amanda and Christopher met at a book launch. Last year, he told People magazine, “I was probably the only person at the party who didn't really know who she was. I knew [about] Italy and some legal stuff and something that shouldn't have happened. But I didn't really know her story.”
After interviewing him for his book “War of the Encyclopaedists,” they became friends and eventually started dating. She said, “I don't want to get married for the sake of getting married. My hope is that I have a partner with whom I can continue to take on the world… and I very much love Chris and feel like he is my partner, and he would be a wonderful dad and we talk about it all the time. So I look forward to that part of my life that I had always taken for granted growing up and then had to let go of in prison.”
