Ariana Grande Slams Pete Davidson for Joking About Their Failed Relationship
Singer Ariana Grande and “Saturday Night Live” star Pete Davidson are not on good terms after calling off their engagement.
On Thursday, Grande seemingly shaded Davidson on Twitter after he poked fun at their lightning-fast engagement in a new “SNL” promo featuring Maggie Rogers and Jonah Hill.
In the clip, Pete said, “Hey, Maggie, I'm Pete. You wanna get married?” After Maggie declined, he responded, “0 for 3,” most likely referencing his failed relationships with Cazzie David and Ariana.
In a now-deleted tweet, Grande said, “For somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh. thank u, next.”
Ariana also retweeted a fan, who wrote on Twitter, “tag yourself I'm maggie.”
Davidson recently broke his silence on the split at a benefit with Judd Apatow. He said, “Well, as you could tell, I don't want to be here. There's a lot going on. Does anybody have any open rooms? Looking for a roommate?”
“Um, I've been covering a bunch of tattoos, that's fun,” Davidson added about his tattoos dedicated to Grande. “I'm f**king zero for two in the tattoo [department]. Yeah, I'm afraid to get my mom tattooed on me, that's how bad it is.”
