Casey Affleck Says Ben Affleck Will ‘Get Things Back on Track’
“Extra” caught up with Casey Affleck at the Toronto Film Festival, where the actor debuted his film “The Old Man and the Gun.”
Casey shared an update on how his brother Ben is doing after checking into rehab for the third time. The 43-year-old said, “He's doing great. I think he's holding up, taking some time for himself, his family — he's going to be okay.”
“He's a great guy, and he's going to get things back on track,” Casey continued.
Casey is starring in “The Old Man and the Gun” with Robert Redford in what the legend says will be his final film, which Casey said was a “great honor” for him.
Speaking about Redford's choice to retire, Affleck commented, “It's a shame, but I'm looking forward to all the other things he is going to do. He's probably just moving on to another adventure in his life.”
“The Old Man and the Gun” hits theaters September 28.
