Tina Turner Shares Heartbreaking Final Goodbye to Son Craig

Earlier this month, legendary singer Tina Turner's son Craig Turner committed suicide at the age of 59.

According to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner, the real estate agent was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in his Studio City home. At the time of his death, Tina was attending the Giorgio Armani Privé Haute Couture fashion show in Paris.

After an autopsy was completed, Turner was cremated. On Friday, Tina posted a pic of herself saying goodbye to her oldest son, tweeting, “My saddest moment as a mother. On Thursday, July 19 2018, I said my final goodbye to my son, Craig Raymond Turner, when I gathered with family and friends to scatter his ashes off the coast of California. He was fifty-nine when he died so tragically, but he will always be my baby.”

Craig was the son of Tina and saxophonist Raymond Hill. Over 10 years ago, Tina opened up on the “emotional” effects of her abusive relationship with Ike Turner on Craig, telling Oprah Winfrey, “He'd always look down in sadness. One day when Ike was fighting me, Craig knocked on the door and said, 'Mother, are you all right?' I thought, 'Oh, please, don't beat me at home.' I didn't want my children to hear.”
