Onetime action star Brigitte Nielsen, 54, has welcomed her fifth child, People magazine reports.

Nielsen and hubby Mattia Dessi are the proud parents of her first daughter, Frida, who was born Friday in L.A., and who weighed 5 lbs. 9 oz.

"We are overjoyed to welcome our beautiful daughter into our lives," Nielsen told People exclusively.

Nielsen announced her pregnancy in May, tagging a baby bump-tastic selfie, "Family getting larger #me #family #brigittenielsen #babybump."
