Ray J & Princess Love Welcome Baby Girl

Ray J and wife Princess Love are first-time parents!

On Tuesday, Ray took to Instagram to announce that they welcomed a baby girl. Along with a video documenting his love story with Princess, he wrote, “ITS TIME!! @rayjnprincess #GODISAMAZING #BABYGIRL #LOVEWINS.”

Their baby's arrival didn't come without some drama. In March, Ray J's sister Brandy and mom Sonja Norwood did not attend the baby shower. TMZ reports that the two women skipped the shower due to a riff with Princess.

In November, Ray announced that they were expecting on “The Real.” He said, “Princess and I are expecting. I'mma be a dad. I'm nervous, excited. It finally happened, My first one.”

He added, “I don't know the process of it — when it actually happened, what night — but it was special because we was trying for a while. It's not as easy as people think. For some people, they just go on tour and get everybody pregnant. But for me, it was love. We took our time, and as we were taking our time, it just took a little while.”

At the time, he revealed that he wanted a “little girl first.” The 36-year-old explained, “It's like daddy's little girl. A little boy is going to be a little aggressive, so I just want to be able to have some peace first. But whatever God blesses us with, I'm happy.”
