Jane Fonda’s Epic Response to Her Nonexistent Dating Life

On Sunday, “Extra” was on the red carpet for the Los Angeles premiere of the new movie “Book Club” starring Jane Fonda, Diane Keaton, Mary Steenburgen, and Candice Bergen.
The comedy is about four single seniors and lifelong friends experiencing a wild sexual awakening after their book club tackles the infamous “Fifty Shades of Grey,” which inspires the ladies to make their next chapter the best chapter.
Fonda pointed out, “It's about very important things: friendship and sex. And that it's okay for older women to have both.”
Jane's own love life, however, doesn't mirror her character's in the movie, revealing, “I'm not dating anymore, but I did up until a couple of years ago.”
“I'm 80," she emphasized. "I've closed up shop down there!"
“Book Club” is in theaters Friday, May 18.
