Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Reveals Why Daughter Was Rushed to ER Last Month
“Extra's” Mario Lopez caught up with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson at the “Rampage” premiere in L.A., where the actor opened up about why his daughter Jasmine, 2, was recently rushed to the ER.
Johnson had posted about the incident on social media last month, but didn't reveal what happened.
He told Mario, “About three weeks ago, in the middle of the night, she wound up having like a croupy cough which a lot of parents out there know. So we experienced that, and then she also had a problem breathing in that moment… it got a little hairy. Called 911. LAFD came so quick and I was very proud of them and very grateful for them, too.”
The Rock also offered an update on his little girl, saying, “She's great. She's really good.”
Dwayne also made headlines in March when he posted about his dad “hustling” him for a Cadillac Escalade after he underwent hip surgery.
Johnson told Mario, “He said, 'I'm doing good but the doctor said the bucket seats in the Cadillac Escalade are much better than the Ford.'… I was laughing my ass off at that so much I was like, 'You got it, Dad… You're hustling me, you got it.'"

The star also touched on reports John Cena would like to join the “Fast and Furious” franchise. Johnson liked the idea, saying, “I think he would be great in 'Fast and Furious'… He would just have to understand how bad he's going to get his ass kicked.”
Last night, however, was all about celebrating “Rampage.” Johnson gushed, “The movie has been testing great with audiences. I'm so happy to be here — it's a big celebration.”
The video game-inspired action movie opens in theaters April 13.
