Julie Bowen Files for Divorce After Secret Yearlong Separation

“Modern Family” actress Julie Bowen has officially filed for divorce from husband Scott Phillips.
Though news broke only last week that they had separated, Bowen noted that it actually happened in February 2017 in the divorce documents obtained by "Extra."
Citing irreconcilable differences, Bowen is requesting joint physical and legal custody of their three sons. She is also asking the judge to not award any spousal support to her husband of 13 years.
It is unknown if they have hashed out a custody agreement.
Rumors of their broken marriage started swirling in December. At the time, In Touch claimed that Julie and Scott had been “living separate lives for a while now.”
Bowen also decided to attend the Emmys in September without Phillips.
