Jenna Fischer Talks New Book, and the Real-Life Jim and Pam

“Extra” caught up with Jenna Fischer at the signing for her new book “The Actor's Life,” where she talked about making it in Hollywood and those “Office” fans who wish she had ended up with John Krasinski in real life.
Jenna got her big primetime break at 29, explaining, “I didn't have any contacts, any resources, I did not know the first thing about how to get an agent, how to take a good head shot.”
That's why she created “the guide book I had wanted when I graduated from acting school.”
She also reminisced about her time on “The Office,” insisting she understands that fans felt strongly about Jim and Pam.
“Listen, I get it, I get it. I feel that way about certain TV couples, too,” she said. “The only thing that makes me sad is when people in real life are mean to my real husband (Lee Kirk) because he's my Jim.”
She noted that John has his “own Pam” in Emily Blunt, “and she's lovely.”
