Early Tuesday morning, singer John Mayer was faced with a hospital emergency!
The "Your Body Is a Wonderland" singer underwent an emergency appendectomy. Dead & Company, the band with whom Mayer is currently touring, said in a statement, “Early this morning, Tuesday, December 5th, John Mayer was admitted into the hospital for emergency appendectomy forcing the Dead & Company December 5th concert in New Orleans to be postponed.”
It is unknown how many tour dates will be affected.
Mayer performed in Austin just three days before the surgery.
