Simon Cowell Rushed to the Hospital, Won't Be on 'The X Factor' Saturday
“America's Got Talent” judge Simon Cowell was faced with a medical emergency Friday morning.
People magazine confirms that Cowell was taken to the hospital after losing his balance as he went down the stairs at his London home. He was put into an ambulance on a stretcher "surrounded by worried aides."
His partner, Lauren Silverman, was seen boarding a flight to London from New York City.

Cowell was in stable condition following the accident, and has since been released.
Over the summer, Cowell was forced to miss some London auditions for "The X Factor" due to a mysterious illness.
On Friday afternoon, Cowell was spotted arriving home after his release from the hospital.
When the photographers asked how he was doing, Simon replied, "I'm doing better now, thank you." As for support from his fans, he expressed thanks and gave a thumbs-up. Watch!
"Extra's" Terri Seymour spoke to Simon following his hospitalization. Simon revealed that he is now resting at home and will not be appearing on Saturday's episode of "The X Factor." Aside from bumps and bruises, Cowell says he is "fine."
