"It," the new feature-film adaptation of Stephen King's popular novel of the same title, is alive... alive!
Variety reports the Warner Bros/New Line production has scared up $179 million worldwide this weekend, including $117 million in North America alone.
Directed by Andy Muschietti, the film stars Bill Skarsgård as Pennywise the Clown, who is a living nightmare for the children of Derry, Maine.
Rumor has it that Muschietti is already being pursued to direct another installment.
