Anthony Scaramucci Already Out as White House Communications Director
That didn't last long! Anthony Scaramucci has been ousted as White House Communications Director after just 10 days.
In a statement, the White House told NBC, "Scaramucci will be leaving his role as White House Communications Director" to "give Chief of Staff John Kelly a clean slate and the ability to build his own team."
The statement concluded, "We wish him all the best.”
Kelly took over as Chief of Staff today. Reince Priebus exited the post last week after he was the subject of negative comments by Scaramucci in a New Yorker interview.
Scaramucci's wife, Deidre Ball Scaramucci, just filed for divorce earlier this month, weeks before the estranged couple welcomed their second child. You can read more about that here.
