Joy-Anna Breaks Duggar Courtship Rule!
If you're a fan of the Duggar family on TLC, you know they have very strict rules when it comes to dating, or what they like to call “courting.”
It looks like Joy-Anna, one of the daughters of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, has fallen short of expectations. During boyfriend Austin Forsyth's proposal to Joy-Anna, the two shared a close frontal hug, breaking the side hug rule!
Not only did the couple break the rule, it was also caught on camera. Watch it at People.com.
In Monday's “Counting On,” Joy-Anna admitted to her slip-up and shared that she didn't know cameras were there.
She explained, “I didn't even notice that they were there. I thought it was just us there, and that was really special.”
Forsyth, now Joy-Anna's husband, also spoke on the incident during “TLC's” two-part “Counting On” reunion.
He shared, “We're humans, and sometimes we don't always abide perfectly by our rules.”
Austin continued, “We try. That was a real hard try.”
