Aaron Carter Arrested on DUI, Marijuana Charges
Former teen heartthrob Aaron Carter was arrested Saturday in Cornelia, Georgia, on suspicion of driving under the influence and for possession of marijuana and drug-related objects.
Carter's girlfriend, photographer Madison Parker, was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug-related objects, as well as for obstruction.
According to a statement provided to "Extra" by the Habersham County Sheriff's Office, all the charges are misdemeanors, both pot charges are for possession of less than an ounce, and the couple has "not been processed into the jail yet and the report is not complete."
Before the arrest, Carter's staff had posted an apology on Twitter stating he was going to miss a Kansas City show "due to transportation issues."
