Sarah Silverman Supports Ex Jimmy Kimmel After His Tear-Jerking Revelation About Son’s Heart Condition

Jimmy Kimmel's emotionally charged, tearful monologue on his show Monday night about his 12-day-old son's open-heart surgery is still reverberating both inside and outside Hollywood.
Fans and stars have been showing their support for the late-night host, his wife Molly and their newborn Billy.
Earlier today, “Extra's” AJ Calloway spoke with Jimmy's ex, Sarah Silverman, at Hulu's upfronts as she promoted her new show, “I Love You, America.” Sarah praised Jimmy, saying, "I love that Jimmy took the time to explain it and thank everyone in his life. He's free, grateful and I think we all are and just also taking the time for a plea, a very bipartisan plea, to not be cutting spending and healthcare for people."
“He's a beautiful speaker and he speaks from the heart and this was a very personal thing — I wish them the best,” she added about her ex, with whom she recently spoke. “I'm very grateful that Billy's surgery went well.”
